The SS2008R2 Books On Line entry for "Grant" reports that this command is deprecated and is only included for Backwards Compatibility. I've been searching the web to find the new modern way to carry out "Grant". Every search result that I've gotten back shows "Grant" as being the proper way to "Grant Execute on procedure to user".
What is the new modern way to do this so I can get into the habit of using it before I can't use it any more.
