First of all I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, my apologies if this is incorrect :)
The company I work for develops software and for logging purposes they use concatenations:
"+ (String Concatenation)"
Now, we often have over 800 concatenations in our stored procedures when it concerns logging, but we heard from one of our foreign developers that the limit for these concatenations in SQL 2012 is 200. Now, I'm fairly sure this is not the case (and if it was, would it not be a number like 256?), so I'm wondering now if there IS a limit and what it is?
Because if it's limited to a number like 256 we've got quite some work to do to rewrite all our logging procedures.
