Please guide us on following scenario :
we have one server on that server MS SQL 2005 enterprise is installed and that server containg8 gb of RAM and intel xeon processesor with Windows server 2008 R2 64 Bit Operating System. There are 2 applications connected to a database on this server which is central database sharing both application, one is desktop application and other is Web application.
NOw what happens is Desktop is working bit slow but web application is not working if more users tries to use this web application and SQLsever.exe takes more processing when you see in task manager around 2,221,152k approx, and web application does not connect to database. In order to connect we have to restart SQL service or IIS then only web application connects and then gets hangs later.
Immediate assistance is highly appreciated.
