sql server 2000 data not sorting with index on table columns used in join operations; Previously it was working properly but not giving random result

Hi,

SQL server 2000 query results not showing data properly. Previously it was showing proper data but from some days it showing random result set.

Again when we backup the sql database and restores on another machine and when we perform same query on another this new machine then it shows proper result data. No new indexes are created on this server/machine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
